And the Winner is…
Wow. I had no idea I’d get so many guesses! I thought this was fun, so as soon as I can come up with a new excuse for a contest I’ll have another one.
There were a lot of guesses is the 40-50 pound range, and all I can say is I WISH it were only 40-50 pounds of yarn. The actual weight of that pile of yarn was 78.4 pounds. After dyeing yarn all weekend and for 4 hours today I think I’ve at last made a dent in it.
That means that Heather at On Hooks and Needles is the lucky winner! Heather guessed 78 pounds. Good job Heather! Your lovely prize package will include a skein of Yarn Pirate yarn, some totally random piratey stuff, hand cream, and 2 bars of good chocolate (there were 3 bars but I had to eat one to keep up my strength this weekend).
