Can dogs answer memes?
I have a no-meme policy, mostly because I don’t have time for them. I’m always very flattered when you guys tag me though! Anyway, Frogger was tagged by a certain friend so I thought I’d let him play just this once. I don’t let Frogger use the computer very often. Did you know you can order pizza over the internet? Internet pizzas delivered to our house are often blamed on Frogger.
Hi, I’m Frogger. Seven random things about me should be pretty easy since I have a lot of random thoughts. Hey, did you know you can order PIZZA on the computer? It doesn’t come out of the computer though. They bring it to the house. So you get pizza AND you get to bark at the pizza guy. It’s awesome.
1. My litter was abandoned at Rescue Pup when I was just a week old. I was bottle fed by very kind and loving people around the clock. I got used to a life of luxury very early on.
2. When I was about 2 1/2 years old, my mommy found a funny bump on my chest. It turned out to be a thing called cancer. I had a few surgeries to make the cancer go away, but it wasn’t enough. I had to go to a special doctor called an oncologist. I had to take some yucky medicine called chemotherapy for 6 months. Mommy cried a lot when I had cancer. I really don’t like it when she cries. I get very upset. I tried really hard to get better, and it worked! The cancer is in remission and I am very healthy now!
3. When I got cancer, my people stopped feeding me commercial dog food. I eat a raw food diet now (so do my brothers Bowie and Max). I LOVE eating a raw food diet. It is a lot of work for my people, but they say I’m worth it. Everyone was pretty worried about their pets when the news broke about the contaminated pet food, but we didn’t have to worry one bit!
4. I like to dig. A lot. I have my own couch in the basement and I dug a big hole in it. Mommy says it’s ok cause it’s my couch and I can do what I want with it. One time I dug a hole on the bed. I ripped a big hole in the sheets. Mommy wasn’t so happy about that…
5. I have a kitty, Max, who I love to snuggle with. I don’t really like other kitties, just Max.
6. Whenever I go to a dog park with a place to swim, I run right to the water’s edge and poop in the water. I don’t really know why I do it, it just feels good! It really embarasses my people and it grosses out everyone at the park. Heh.
7. I can jump really, really high. I like to jump up to peek at the mailman through the front door. I can jump over the door at doggy daycare. A lot of people think that’s why I’m named Frogger, but it’s not. I was named after the video game. The jumping came later ;).
Well, that’s about it. Don’t forget that you can special order yarn if you click the link at the top of the page. I like it when mommy is busy with the yarn. It means I can try to get into the garbage!

Have you guys tried Darwin’s raw food? It’s relatively inexpensive and they deliver it right to your door! We’ve been using them for about a year and it’s SO nice not to have to make raw dog food myself
Their website is at http://www.darwinspet.com.

Frogger - you are a cutie. I had to LOL about you pooping in the water and making people grossed out. What a great personality you have.

What a doll! Simon eats a raw diet too and it has made a world of difference. Some people think it’s funny that I cook for my cat ever 5-7 days.

Our little 9 lb. Pekapoo has been eating a raw diet for 10 years. We use Sojo’s food base, fresh veggies, and mostly ground turkey, although she also eats venison until it runs out each year. (I think a big man hunting for meat for a little dog is pretty funny.) I’m always surprised when the vet scolds me for feeding my dog REAL FOOD instead of extruded, pellatized, processed….well, you get the idea.

*Love* your answers Frogger! Especially the one about pooping in the water at the dog park! Hilarious! I have a dog who has to poop in strangely inappropriate places too! Thanks for sharing

I’m glad I now know some random stuff about you! I like to pee in the water when we go to the beach or to the lake. You have a much better idea though! Digging is so much fun! I once dug a hole that I could fit in outside. Mommy wasn’t too happy and filled it in. I just un-filled it for her again.

Oh man what a cutie!!! Our pup used to be on a raw diet but it got too much for me to handle and too expensive (he’s a great pyrenees) So Frogger is a lucky doggy. They sure do love the raw though. I use to love freaking people out when I would huck a whole chicken out to Shimo. Crunch crunch crunch :o)

Hi Frogger! Wasn’t it fun answering a meme? I’m glad you took me up on the tag. I know you don’t like cats much, but I really do think you’d like me. I think I’m cute. And I like dogs pretty much. I’ll bring you a tennis ball as a present if I ever come visit. Love, Zoe

Frogger looks so much like our dog who died last year! Except Buck’s one ear was always sagging because of an infection he never could shake. Great sense of humor, too.

Okay, I teared up reading about Frogger. I’m such a dork! I can’t imagine how hard it must have been as a mommy to watch Frogger being so sick. We don’t have a dog right now (not enough room where we live) but I love dogs and grew up with them. I think it’s amazingly sweet how much you love him - just as it should be.

Wait a minute. You can order pizza on the internet? Wow. I’m going to have to try that while my Mom’s at work tomorrow. Because, yeah, getting the pizza AND getting to bark? Heaven. And, my Mom makes my food for me (though she cooks it). She’s just the best cook….
