I’m thinking of starting the Booty Club back up in September. So if I start it back up who is interested? Leave me a comment if you plan on signing up again. Here are the options:
Variegated Club $30-ish a month
Semi Solid Club $30-ish a month
Fiber Club $20-ish a month (with option for a double scoop of fiber)
and, if there’s enough of an interest, I want to do some kind of woolie knits club. It would probably be aran weight BFL every month, with your choice of girl or boy themed variegated yarn with matching trim.
Leave me a comment and let me know which clubs you’re interested in!

Hey everyone, I decided to do a wee shop update. Just a few pretties for now. I’ll probably have more to list next week. Look at these fun kits I put together:

I have yarn and fiber for sale HERE!
This week was a little crazy for us. H got stung by a bee on the tip of his thumb and it was the saddest thing ever. And Thursday we found out that A has mild kidney reflux.

She probably won’t need surgery to correct it and most kids outgrow it. But she will have to go to a pediatric urologist and will most likely be on antibiotics a lot over the next year or so. Bummer. But I’m so glad out pediatrician in on top of this. He told me two moms in his practice are in kidney failure due to undiagnosed/untreated kidney reflux. And these women are my age. It’s heartbreaking because it would have been so easy to prevent. We spent all of Thursday morning at Children’s Hospital in Seattle getting A’s kidneys checked out. It looks like the kind that goes away on it’s own. So yay for that!
Our pediatrician caught the reflux because A had a bladder infection a few weeks ago. She was vomiting all morning so I took her in. Not spitting up. Puking. Puking like a frat boy. He told me that if an infant is vomiting like that it’s almost always a bladder infection. After the culture came back positive he told me that he refers all infants with bladder infections to be screened for reflux. I’m so glad he’s our pediatrician!
Have a great weekend!

So my blog was all messed up for a while there. I kept forgetting to ask my hubby to fix it. And when I say I forgot, I mean I passed out in bed after getting the kids to sleep. Anyway, I told him about it last week and he fixed it in two seconds. Then I wrote a post, hit publish and my entire post was eaten. SIGH.
Now I’m all behind on posting. Again.

We went to our city’s 4th of July parade. We’ve lived here for 7 years and I only found out about the parade last summer. We missed it last year and I was determined to make it this year. It was so much fun.

Look at this guy! Awesome.

I finished the bloomers! And I’ve finished another pair since then. Now I’m taking a break from bloomers. 4 pairs in 3 months is enough, don’t you think? There are dresses to be knit.

Warm weather is finally here. Well, sporadically anyway. We’ve been to the beach a few times.

We have a 3 1/2 month old already! A has been working hard at rolling over. She loves to get her brother’s attention by squealing at him. They get along so well. I’m a lucky mama.
I’m working on writing up A’s birth story. Ug. These things take so much longer when you have two kids.
